Job Description

The AP Accountant performs a wide variety of administrative and clerical support to the organization by completing payments and controlling expenses, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices following the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.

Activities and duties will vary depending upon the functional area assigned. Activities may include, but are not limited to

Responsible for the month-end closing AP accounting activities, prepare analysis for AP Related Journal Entries
Notify suppliers of payments made by sending payment details
Update supplier account information
Book & Register invoices received from Suppliers, and Report & Analyze AP Aging in a Timely manner
Prepare, Send and Reconcile C-16 Report with Intercompany Partners.
Analyze financial reports and records, making studies or recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets and expenditures.
Audit, review and verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
0 – 2 years experience.
Knowledge of accounting procedures.
Good typing and data entry skills.
Accurate math and analytical skills.
Good collaboration & teamwork skills
Good organizational and attention to detail skills.
