Position Overview:

We seek an experienced Head of Finance to lead and modernise Mystore’s financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a complex, international environment and is motivated by the opportunity to drive strategic growth through financial leadership. In this role, you’ll streamline our back-office functions, modernise processes, and provide data-driven insights that enable Mystore’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies that support our growth, while ensuring alignment with our long-term goals.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage budgeting processes and forecasting models, providing relevant insights and ensuring accuracy to make informed decisions.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for senior leadership and our owners, delivering clear insights on Mystore’s financial health and performance.

• Compliance & Risk Management: Oversee compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial laws, while managing financial risks. This position also has overall compliance responsibility in the company.

• Cash Flow & Cost Optimization: Monitor cash flow and liquidity, ensuring sufficient support for operational needs and exploring cost optimization opportunities.

• Back-office Transformation: Lead our continuing modernization of back-office functions by implementing automation, streamlining workflows, and integrating advanced financial systems to support Mystore’s operations.

• Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with department heads to align financial processes with operational goals, fostering seamless workflows across the organisation.

As the Head of Finance for Mystore, you thrive in a multi-functional role. You bring both strategic vision and hands-on experience, ensuring our finance function is robust, AI & data-driven, and optimised for growth.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree is highly valued.

• Experience: 5+ years in finance management, with experience in back-office transformation or financial process modernization in a multi-country environment.

• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial regulations, and proficiency with AI and financial automation tools.

• Analytical Skills : Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and trends, with excellent problem-solving skills. We're looking for someone who doesn't just analyse — but acts on it.

• Communication: Clear, concise communicator with the ability to present complex financial data to diverse stakeholders such as management and the board.

• Language: Fluency in Norwegian and English as these are the languages we communicate with management and the board.
