You’ll be part of an open-minded, agile, and cross-functional team that loves solving problems and driving innovation! At Lendo Norway, everyone has an impact—our tech team works closely with the business, directly contributing to the continuous improvement of both our technology and product offerings.
A look at what you will do
Tools : Use tech such as Java, Spring Boot, AWS Services, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Github, Argo CD
Migration : Work on migrating of our remaining services
Architecture : Design and implement APIs/integrations/services to ensure smooth service communication.
Product Development : Continuously create exciting new products and features, collaborating closely with colleagues
Testing : Write tests at different levels to ensure the quality in your code
Analytics : Identify and keep track of metrics that tell you how our services and software is performing
Collaboration : Collaborate closely with colleagues and the business to increase value for our customers and partners
Prioritization: Prioritise work with the team and the Product managers
AI usage : we use AI at different stages of the development: from experimenting and actual development to improvement/automation of the processes and decision-making
Be creative and brainstorm ideas for ways we can further streamline our development. Bring your own unique skill set to the table. Experiment, test, try, fail and learn all the time
Work in a hybrid environment with 3 office days a week
About you
Skills and requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Senior developer skill-set (not necessarily correlates with years of experience)
Excellent knowledge of Java or similar languages
Knowledge of Spring Boot and PostgreSQL
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code and actively improve the quality of the codebase
Experience from a product-based companies
Experience with the AWS cloud and architecture, in general, is a plus
Experience with event driven systems is a plus
Experience with the observability tools like Grafana is a plus
Give good reviews, and don't shy away from a constructive discussion
Be a curious engineer and proactive in your ways of working
