Ready to make a real impact? As a 2nd Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating deck-mounted excavators used for handling and feeding rock into the fall pipe system, supporting accurate subsea rock installation on board a fall pipe vessel.

Function Description

You will work onboard a fall pipe vessel and support rock installation operations by managing material handling on deck.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating deck-mounted excavators to handle and distribute rock material
• Ensuring a steady and controlled feed into the fall pipe system
• Supporting efficient material flow to maintain production targets
• Monitoring rock segregation and deck storage areas
• Performing daily checks and basic maintenance of equipment
• Coordinating with fall pipe control room, deck crew, and bridge team
• Adhering to strict offshore safety procedures and DP operations awareness

The role requires strong coordination, precision, and the ability to work safely in a dynamic offshore environment.

Requirements

Requirements:

• UK Frontier Work Permit
• Valid Excavator Operator Certificate
• STCW Basic Safety Training
• Offshore certification (BOSIET / FOET) preferred
• Valid Seafarer Medical
• Proven experience as Excavator Operator, preferably in offshore or marine environment
• Experience with rock handling, dredging, or fall pipe operations is an advantage
