We are currently seeking a hotel chef, located 2-hour drive from Trondheim.
They focus on personal service and a cozy atmosphere, great course-conference facilities, function rooms for every occasion, a restaurant and a bar.
The kitchen focuses on local food such as seafood, wild sheep and deer. They want to offer local food, great experiences with a taste of the sea!
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef, including a la carte, buffet, and three-course menu preparation for events and functions.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and a passion for utilizing local ingredients.
Ability to work under pressure, maintain composure, and meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and a strong focus on food presentation.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the nature of the hospitality industry.
Working period: 27.07.2026 - 20.09.2026
Accommodation: Own room, shared kitchen and the bathroom
Salary: 250-270 NOK/h
Average working hours is 162.5 / month
The approximate salary with normal hours is 270* 162*12.00% = 47174 NOK before taxes (~25.00)
Salary additions for evening, night and the weekend.Vacation addition:12 %
National holiday addition 100 %
Overtime 50 %
