We are hiring on behalf of a well-established premium steakhouse in central Bodø, Northern Norway. The restaurant is built around one thing done very well: high-quality beef, where the guest chooses the cut, the size, the doneness and the sides, and the kitchen delivers it exactly as ordered. 2 permanent grill chef positions are now open.
You'll run the grill section in a kitchen where consistency, timing and the right crust on the right cut decide whether a guest comes back. We're looking for chefs who already know how different cuts behave on a hot grill, who can read doneness by feel and by eye rather than by timer, and who can hold the standard through a full service without it slipping.
Who we're looking for
Solid hands-on grill experience from a steakhouse, grill restaurant or high-volume kitchen where steak was the main event, not a side note. You respect good produce, you're calm under pressure, and you take pride in sending out a plate you'd be happy to sit down to yourself.
We expect from you:
at least 2 years of experience as grill chef. Experience in Scandinavian hotels is not necessary, but would be an advantage;
good skills of English;
responsibility, universality, and speed of work;
knowledge of hygiene requirements;
opportunity to start work immediately.
We offer you:
salary 250 NOK per hour;
accommodation in a shared room across the work place;
