Digital Procurement Manager

Are you ready to drive and support the digital transformation of procurement? Aluminium Metal Procurement is seeking a proactive and hands-on Digital Procurement Manager to manage our digital procurement ecosystem, and support procurement operations. 

This role seamlessly connects operational execution with digital expertise, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement. Acting as a bridge between procurement, IT, suppliers, and business stakeholders, you will ensure efficient daily operations, high-quality data, and successful adoption of digital and AI-driven solutions.

What you will be doing

• Operations & coordination: Be hands-on in business operations and transformation, running digital procurement channels (SAP, SAP Ariba, AI and other tools) including development, optimization, catalogue and content management and master data governance. Provide functional leadership and coordination of a lean global operational support team    
• Digital strategy & improvement projects: Lead and support digital procurement projects and roadmap initiatives, from process design, testing and implementation, change management and adoption of new functionality and AI applications   
• Stakeholder management: Build strong cross functional relationships across business units and plants, central IT, and external vendors to drive seamless operations and high user adoption. Serve as a trusted point of contact for digital procurement processes, system-related matters, and operational problem-solving.  
• Sourcing & supplier enablement: Promote standard ways of working across the organization, facilitate training and supplier onboarding. Actively engage in sourcing events, tenders, and other procurement tasks. 

What will make you successful?

• Education: A relevant higher degree within procurement, supply chain, business administration, information systems, engineering or similar.  
• Professional experience: Experience from digital procurement, procurement operations, sourcing, or management consulting.  
• System and digital expertise: You have practical experience with tools like SAP Ariba, VIM, SAP ERP, AI or similar procurement platforms. 
• Communication & relationships: You are a strong communicator in both Norwegian and English, with the ability to explain digital process in a user-friendly way.  
• Execution & leadership potential: Structured, hands-on, and comfortable coordinating tasks for a small operational team while driving projects forward.
